Narrative

2002

This piece debuted, as I recall, at the St. Louis Extract show at Mad Art in St. Louis. Then I showed it at D-Zine where, oddly, one of the panels went missing. After that it showed in various formations in various venues. I remember it was a six-piece at Atomic Cowboy (back when they were on Manchester in Maplewood, MO). I gave two of the things to Fred and Kathleen Friction and I guess the remainders are in storage somewhere.

Ah! I've just learned that Caroline Haley, nee Huth, has one of these, too! Maybe the sixth one there. (May 23, 2012)

Split No.1

2002

This one showed at the St. Louis Extract Group show and at D-Zine, I think. There were two of these, as I recall, each eight feet wide by four high. I wish I could find a picture of the other one. Oh well.

Detritus

1996

I made this when I was in San Francisco during that short time I was married to Jeanne McKee, in that posh apartment by SFMOMA. It showed a few times in St. Louis, most notably at Mad Art for a found objects show where it caught the eye of Tracy Varley. Turned out it was her birthday, so I gave it to her. If you ever wanted to see it, I guess you'd find it at her home in Chicago.

Rocket Bar Confidential

(2000)

Anyone remember the Rocket Bar?
Oh, sure you do.

Do any of you remember where you were on the night of April the Seventh, 2000?
Well, neither do I but here are some pictures from that night anyhow.
