Literature
Here are twenty books I've never read.
And neither have you.
And you never will.
And neither will I.
Nobody will.

All Summer Long 2003
I found the negatives for these in the parking lot of the Shop 'n' Save on Kingshiway and Chippewa in St. Louis. They were right there on the asphault, all crunched up 'n' shit. Naturally, I took them home and scanned them. Then I put the images to work in a series of five pieces called All Summer Long, juxtaposed to a lot of Beach Boys lyrics, which showed at Mad Art in my Endless Summer show.

Detritus 1996
I made this when I was in San Francisco during that short time I was married to Jeanne McKee, in that posh apartment by SFMOMA. It showed a few times in St. Louis, most notably at Mad Art for a found objects show where it caught the eye of Tracy Varley. Turned out it was her birthday, so I gave it to her. If you ever wanted to see it, I guess you'd find it at her home in Chicago.
