Containment 2001
Driving on the 64/40 in St. Louis you'll see these giant, round, iron structures just on the South side of the highway. I wondered for years what they were and it wasn't until well after shooting these that I learned that they are basically great bladders for storing natural gas.

TAG Group Artists 2000
Here are my photographs of the artists I selected to participate in the first TAG Group "Retrospective". I made up a catalog for the show and that's where the pictures got used. So, great, here's who these guys are: Erin Kuechler, Rosa Maria Arenas, Lance Gibler, me, Alexa Hoyer, Judy Krogstad, Tim Mancinas, Mandy Marzoratti, Mike Pagano, Scott Pondrom, Ed Reynolds, Burke Richardson, Todd Thomas and Dan Zipperer.

TAG Group Exhibitions Posters 2000 / 2001
I have about a hundred-million things I could say about the TAG shows but I'll keep this brief 'cause I don't like to write and you don't like to read. Suffice to say that artist and Art Loft resident Ed Reynolds decided he needed to throw something like and art show/happening. I loved the idea and was so eager to participate at the time that I began taking on the responsibilities that I'd hoped would lend legitimacy to the idea, such as publicizing the event with posters. The first event went so well, we decided to keep going and carried on doing a show a month for a year. They were all great in their way and that was a great year for sure and, oh, I could go on but, as I said, I'm keeping this brief. I will add, though, that all the photos for these designs were made at or near the location of the exhibitions - The Art Lofts on Washington Ave. in St. Louis. In fact, that first one is the gallery itself. Okay. Enough.

Fragments from the Back of a Store 2006
Here's me on a bike ride up Kingshiway in St. Louis and stopping at a vacant store, looking for good photographs with the old OM-1, and going around back and shooting anything on the back of the building that wasn't just white-painted cinderblock.

Huth/Gray Repost 2005
I know I posted this set or something similar last summer, but I found these slightly different and expanded tif files and had to go for it again. These images were made at the home of two artists I once knew - Caroline Huth and Dave Gray. They're both very interesting folks and their home in University City, MO was particularly well appointed with what I can only call neat stuff. So I shot little bits of it.
